My name is David Tamulonis and I am a Graphic and Interactive Designer from Youngstown, Ohio. A 2016 graduate of Youngstown State University with a BFA in Graphic and Interactive Design and a BSBA in Marketing Management, I am seeking jobs in the fast-paced, interdisciplinary fields of advertising, branding, motion graphics, content creation, interactive design and environmental graphic design.  I have worked in-house doing marketing, design, and advertising for Compass Group USALive Youngstown, and Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation. I have completed work for clients such as the Community Foundation for the Valley, the YSU Regional Economic Development Initiative, and Youngstown State University. As a Graphic and Interactive Designer, I create work that functions as a communication channel for collaborative efforts in community development. My passion for social activism has provided me with opportunities to use design as a tool to advocate for causes that are close to me. My work tends toward a playful aesthetic when appropriate, and utilizes organic and analog processes to provide contrast to grid-heavy type treatments. My background in photography, videography, and fine art inform my experimentation and image creation. My creative process relies heavily on sketchbook work, written journaling, and note-taking. I believe all design is a collaboration with those who interact with it, and my educational background in marketing has instilled in me a deep respect and dedication to the target end viewers of my work. Check out select examples of my work here or check me out on the social media platforms listed below:
